Are artists an act of random choices leading to entropy?* by P F
>
Hazel: Deanie, honey, do you think you still love him?
She removes her white hat and looks ahead to her new future with a wise, unspoken understanding and acceptance. She has calmed inner conflicts, disappointments, and struggles and put herself back together after the painful shattering of her intense, first youthful love. With new awareness, she realizes she has outgrown the very different, still good-natured Bud that she once loved and worshipped. Deanie has put aside youthful exuberance, grieving, and denial of love to move forward. She has also gained strength from what remains - the memories of her "splendor in the grass."
As she narrates (in voice-over) and remembers the words of the Wordsworth's poem Ode, Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood, taught to her by her schoolteacher, Deanie peacefully and fully answers the question about her loss of love - one that has finally been resolved:
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendor in the grass, of glory in the flower
We will grieve not, but rather find
Strength in what remains behind.[i]
This is an excert from Elia Kazan masterpiece written by William Inge, based on William’s Wordsworth "Ode: Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood". A tale that tells a story of sexual repression, love, and heartbreak.
What we have now is a state of anything goes, a free for all. It must not be confused with a loss of standards, for most contemporary art aims, as usual, for the highest standards of excellence. Rather, it consists in the co-existence of numerous standards, sometimes called pluralism, in which no one style dominates.
Until recently the mark of a civilized person was exclusiveness. We talked about ‘exclusive’ shops and ‘exclusive’ schools as though ‘exclusive’ were a term of praise. Now we know that to present ourselves as morally and socially acceptable we have to be inclusive.
Hence the rise of all those politically correct terms such as Sexism (with an eye to including women), Ageism (usually with the aim of including old or young people), Racism, Specialism (used by animal rights campaigners), etc, urging us to be open to other religions, other cultures, and other sexual orientations.
William Morris, in his nineteenth-century News from Nowhere, created a utopia in which people integrated art into their lives, so that people valued having a few beautiful things more than an ugly many things. More recently, Theodore Roszak saw art as a major source of an alternative vision of sensibility, of organic, earth-based values, and believed that as we became more creative the less we would consume earth-destroying mass-produced consumer goods.
So are artists an act of random choices leading to entropy?*
*A Boltzmann brain is a hypothesized self-aware entity, which arises due to random fluctuations out of a state of chaos. The idea is named for thermodynamicist Ludwig Boltzmann (1844-1906), who advanced that the known universe arose as a random fluctuation, similar to a process through which Boltzmann brains might arise and are often referred to in the context of the "Boltzmann brain paradox" or "problem".
The concept arises from the need to explain why we observe such a large degree of organization in the universe.
This leads to the Boltzmann brain concept: If our current level of organization, having many self-aware entities, is a result of a random fluctuation, it is much less likely than a level of organization which is only just able to create a single self-aware entity.[ii]

Nothing
Few students from HKU, gethered to protest and to spread the word of nothing.
the idea in origin came from student at HKU: Michael Klinkenberg.
there was only this demonstration and the movement didnt continue to exist for longer time.
As a participant in that first demonstation, I give myself right to continue the idea and the movement. I think it is important to continue this movment!
What I personally want to express with this idea is that :
mainly people of all classes and all kindes are often against or for something.
It is our human nature to agree or disagree with things outside and inside of ourselves.
this kind of impulses in my point of view are more then 70% irrational, unexplaineble emotions which we are trying to rationalize.
for example: there is nothing we could do about situation in politics, global warming, wars ect. I mean we cant help natural flow to be changed by voting, by separating garbage, arguing with friends about china or taste of architects in united arab emirates.
but the main thing we all forget is that we are under influence of greater forces, which are impossible for us to understand. like, planet influences from our solar system, unconscious forces, development of univers and so on...
and there is very little we can do about it.
all powerfull polititions or regular citizens are under this influence. we just do what we are supposed to do, we are foreced to do so, we are forced by nothing.
and all of us have rationalized idea why we belive in certain things and why we act according to them. we have this right and power to be aginst or for something, but looking at it closer, not so subjectiv, its not so difficalt to see that behind our notions stands nothing.
so I want to start once again active movment, which can include all social representatives, against and for nothing.
first aim is to find places chareged with magnetism, sort of gravitation points on surface of city.( for example: "admiralbrücke" in Berlin.) I want to gather together people who fully understand the idea of nothingness.
I need more people who are interested in this idea, to develope it to make it happend. people who will take this idea also with humor!!! so that we could orginize it together and get publicity to let all know that we are driven by nothing and this nothing is as real as anything else 8)

Closed playground
This morning I was awoken by pulsative hammer strokes from directly below my window. Dozy and irritated I realised the surprise: They put up a brand new playground in my courtyard.
When trying to check it out tonight I was reminded of that blog:
For some reason, that will stay obscure to me the whole playground is fenced.
Do you see the barrier tape?
That's us.
This is me.Maybe I'm not late with this.My whole life was filled with these pricks of conscience for the things what I wanted to do but I didn't do.Failure after failure I must see, thats not laziness, thats the same old self-doubt what I hate in myself. When this blog started and I get an email, I can be a part of this, I tought: this blog is a beautiful reason to kick out self-doubt from my life.A place what have ho rules and everything is free. When I got knew about this blog I was very happy and felt the power in me to do anything what I want. After a participation in BEINGEVERYWHERE project, I was happy to here's the next beautiful thing what will set many people free from their inhibition and expectations of fashionable or fake things what this world filled with.I am very sorry for the days what went trough this month and everyday was a big chance to give something truthful to many people.Days after days from the start, I had the feeling that my things are not so good to put them on the blog.Or they are too small things to give something to anybody. But that's bullshit I know.So I will do what I feel.Give a photo to the community from my little moments of my life.I thought that's not enough but I don't care now. That's all what I can do.And I will.
Sorry for my english and the lost days what I missed.
Blessings and Love

Anybody out there?
Is that victory to the platitude that all artists are self-impressed vain egocentrics in the end?
Does that proof the assumption, that artists like to answer but not to ask?
Or is it just, that we are too busy with our ongoing projects?
Would we have needed a topic maybe?
Something rough to argue about?
A statement?
What went wrong?
Did this project promise something that it didn't keep?
And if so: Who should have kept it, if we didn't even introduce ourselves?
What did you expect?
Each of you?
Are we too tired to think and write in a foreign language at the end of an long and messy day?
Are we too lazy to write something a little bit longer than a tweet at all?
Or are we maybe just bored of ourselves? Or of each other? The world in general?
Even if this might seem gooey to you:
Isn't that really really sad?
Didn't we miss a chance?
Didn't we loose potential?
I bet you are all interesting guys.
And I'm sure it would have been a pleasure to meet you.
And maybe it still can be.
7 days left to go.
And I still wonder: Who are you guys?
Suggestions, any?
Answers?

A devastating war that nearly destroyed the Universe ensued between Cronus and his five brothers and Zeus and his five brothers and sisters. Zeus persuaded the fifty headed monsters to fight with him which enabled him to make use of their weapons of thunder, lightning and earthquake. He also convinced the Titan, Prometheus, who was incredibly wise, to join his side. With his forces, Zeus was victorious and the Olympians reigned supreme. Saturn and his brothers were imprisoned in the Tartarus, a dark gloomy region at the end of the Earth".
Triumph der Abwesenheit
Post-historical modified version of famous Leni Riefenstahl's "Triumph of the Will" (Triumph des Willens). All trails of direct nazi signs and even the image of Adolf Hitler have been deleted from the whole recording. From over hour movie remain only 14 minutes. Symbolic censure has made from this movie a story full of strange rituals, situations and worrying emptiness with silent lack of original sound, which was one of fundamental features of the prototype. In spite of all there is widely sensible a mood of „fascist tension”. Triumph of absence, powerlessness and chaotic narrative.

"The nex one is about togetherness,
First: Scott Matthew is a funny guy. He seems to enjoy his life - which might be indeed pretty enjoyable at the moment - he smiles all the time and cracks at least one joke in the very short break between to songs. (So beware! He only claims to be sad and depressed in order to make you love him.)
Second: "Community" is a song about togetherness. As far as I understood it listening to it via headphones sitting on the window board of my living room on the 5th floor at night drowning in self-pity it was about the opposite: loneliness.
This impression put the whole show in a different light for me. I couldn't stop to doubt the fact that fifty people sitting closely together in front of a very small stage were seriously being touched by the way the artist very close in front of them sang sings about - and that's the weird thing: loneliness.
For a second I earnestly considered to disturb the show to suggest, that everybody should enjoy the rest of it being hugged by their neighbour. But then a sentence came up to my mind, that I must have read in a novel by Erich Maria Remarque a few years ago. Loosely translated it says: Loneliness is not about lack of community.
But without community you'll never reach togetherness.
So: Who are you guys?
